| Doña Cata (Catalina Espejo Munoz) was born in Villa de Ayala Morelos, Mexico in 1925-2003. Doña cata,dedicated 45 years of her life cooking in her town. Delicious carnitas, longaniza and popular Mexican “guisados” were her specialty; She left to her granddaughter Brenda Cortes, her passion for these family recipes , then Brenda decided to continue with the heritage of her grandma’s secrets and opened her own restaurant in 2006 bringing the real Mexican flavors to you.
